A Party Hat...

Something easy to make when you need a quick present. I whipped this hat up for Macy to take to a birthday party this weekend - so convenient when you can't seem to get motivated to go to the store..... :)

While away, I'll still play...

And play I did! Traveling to Florida for the holidays didn't keep me from my favorite hobbies of creating jewelry and knitting. That's what's so great! It's all totally portable! So I worked away while they cold breeze blew across the sand...


I even taught myself how to crochet my first flower...

Almost perfect.......

These Christmas scarves that have been taking me forever to complete, I am happy to say are done! And they look almost perfect! I'm thrilled! Hope the "receivers" enjoy them :)

I really need some type of marketing plan....

I had a vision for these necklaces - something new and different that I could make inexpensively. And being the pushy mother that I am, made Carter & Macy wear them to school as my personal billboards and walking ad campaign-ers. Amazingly, they are a giant success! Apparently everyone wants one now! Hooray! I made a bunch more of them for Christmas for Macy to give out as presents for her friends.

Now....

I need to make money on them - hence, the marketing plan....

Wrap It Up!

I love wrapping paper. I mean, I REALLY love wrapping paper. I'm like one of those crazy collector types, only I don't collect cars, or dolls, or even shoes. I collect wrapping paper. But it's not just for wrapping the occasional present. I use it for art projects, school projects, photography... you get the idea. I will never have enough wrapping paper in my life. Man, I am so weird!
